Fractals in Nature II

Fractals are the beautiful natural phenomena which are present all around us, if only you care to observe your surroundings. Nature is the perfect place to find fractal patterns, the self-repeating ones that appear the same even when zoomed into.

Fractals in nature – from flowers, mountains, vegetables, clouds, insects, fields – continue to amaze us. Here is a small collection of fractals from nature’s basket.

Fractals are also part of Sacred Geometry, like the sunflower whorl, the intricacies are captivating.

The mother trees branching out to unite with other trees, looks like a green umbrella over the road. A recent research stated that trees communicate with one another in a symbiotic relationship that helps the trees to survive. The root systems of plants and trees are transferring carbon and nitrogen back and forth between each other in a network of subtle communication.
