Well its been a while since we wrote to you'll about what's happening with Fractal Enlightenment. I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about our experience running the site and what we hope to do this year.

Depending on how long you have been with us, you would know that our main focus has always been high quality content, thankfully we now have a group of amazing writers aboard the fractal bandwagon, breaking down walls of perception and cracking shells to let in the light.

But alls not well here, we have been hit with major issues. Post our content going viral last year we hired multiple people to help get our server in order. Due to continuous crashing we were forced to move to an expensive hosting service (WpEngine) that ripped us off, we ended up paying a $1000 bill in a month just for hosting.

Now we are on a much more stable server that is affordable, but are facing continuous hack attempts, funny it seems so many want to bring this site down. We've had over 260,000 hack attempts that have been thwarted in the last seven months. Prior to this a bot injected spam into our sql that showed spam in the search engine thus reducing our site value on the search engine.

There was also a phase when our content was ripped off by multiple sites, which either failed to give due credit or added wrong source links. I agree that knowledge is free to share, but not at the expense of someone's hard work and effort. It affected our traffic and reach, as the same sites started promoting it as their own content on different social media platforms, and refused to share directly from our site.

Well everything that goes down at some point has to go up again and vice versa, such is life, but throughout the journey if it wasn't for you it wouldn't be possible. Thank you for all your support.

Taking this forward, we want to hold sacred spaces/ceremonies/workshops that allow people to open up, to unwind, to connect, to heal and grow, grieve and celebrate, and do inner work, which is often procrastinated.
