Hello Beautiful, :)
Hope your week started off great.
In our daily life there are so many distractions that to simply concentrate on a conversation for example, becomes a difficult task. Our mind is racing to the next task, to the next job and so on.
It takes an effort to put aside everything, and to apply ourselves. Let’s learn to develop concentration in daily life. If you are listening to another person, pay attention, if you are writing or working, pay attention to what you are doing - with your conscious mind and attention. There is so much distraction and restlessness in our environment itself, we have to be able to overcome our distractions, by blocking out trivialities.
While walking to work, or driving to work, pay attention to that. It’s a good exercise to live consciously as opposed to living subconsciously. Learn to be awake, and one of the ways to do that is to keep your attention at the point between the eyebrows. This helps to be absorbed in the moment, and it opens doorways to receiving that higher consciousness.
On that note, we would like to thank all the participants who joined us for the ‘Letting go’ circle on September 16th. It was extremely gratifying to hear the sharing and learnings that emerged from the session. When these circles started a year ago the main intention was to create a space for like-minded individuals to share and grow. So far it hasn't been disappointing even, but what the session churns out at the end is so uplifting for the spirit and enriching for the soul.
We hope to meet you again for our next session which is a ‘Reading circle’ on September 30, 2023. More details to follow soon.
