How often have we struggled with changing our behavior? We make resolutions, we are so determined to change our behaviour and cultivate positive habits, but sticking to it becomes a challenge sometimes.
We often find ourselves slipping back into old habits, which can be frustrating. I have always found completing a book a huge challenge. I will read half a book, and then move on to the next one, never really ending up completing the book.
When I found that there is an easier way to change this behaviour, it was a relief.
BJ Fogg, a behavioral scientist from Stanford and the author of the book Tiny Habits, suggests a 3-step method to help you build new habits. I am in the process of trying this method out and hope for a positive outcome.
