The human mind is invaluable; every philosophy, meditation practice, and spiritual teachings emphasize the importance of calming the restless mind, to harness its power and use it to our advantage. Unfortunately, we often fail to recognize its worth, treating it like a trash can, accumulating everything we hear and see, and certain thoughts resurface when we are provoked. As a result, our minds become cluttered with a myriad of thoughts. Given the essential role our mind plays, why do we not dedicate time each day to its maintenance? We regularly clean our homes and clean up our phones to optimize it so that it performs better, why not apply the same principle to our minds? Engage in meditation, take leisurely walks, practice deep breathing, do yoga, exercise, and declutter your mind. Utilize your mind as a tool for personal growth. Clear out the mental clutter. Release what no longer serves you. Experience the difference it makes. A small step towards decluttering our minds can be by focusing on a positive thought and action.
