Hi ,

Ever paid attention to how much energy one drains with random gossip?

Talking about meaningless stuff is energy draining, it keeps us in a low-vibrational state and clouds our minds. When we observe silence, the same mind that was lost in its web of thoughts begins to untangle, bringing in more clarity.  

When you choose silence over gossip, you will feel a noticeable difference as it opens the doorway to inner peace and harmony in your thoughts.

Silence or Mauna (a Sanskrit word meaning silence) is sacred; silence is not just the absence of sound - it is the presence of awareness at the highest level.  

In my Yoga Teachers Training Course, there was an interesting thought that was put forth - to observe silence when you feel anxious or the atmosphere is filled with anxiety. I tried it once, and the moment you bring in awareness, the intensity of the situation starts dissolving. Or observe Mauna in a heated situation, take a step back, and look at the situation objectively.

It sounds simple, but it's quite a challenge, the trick here is to bring your awareness to the situation and to remember to step back and observe silence, far easier said than done.

Sounds like quite a bit to do at that moment, but trust me, that's when things begin to transform.
