Hi , Let's take this moment to reflect on the blessings we have received, even in painful moments. A simple act of kindness, a soothing word, or a warm hug goes a long way towards healing a wounded soul. Can you count your blessings?
Isn’t it difficult when you begin to see how precious even the smallest moment can become? Like a child who finds joy in the splash of a puddle, or a bird soaring high up in the sky, it doesn’t take too much to be thankful for everything that you might have.
Leave aside all the thoughts of jealousy, anger, grudges, fear and simply breathe it out. Breathe in goodness, contentment, stillness and gratitude.
Few practices we can do ~ Have a gratitude circle in your family with loved ones or friends – each one sharing one blessing from their day. Write those on small pieces of paper and hang them on a branch or stick them on the wall. Make it into a Tree of Gratitude, which you can read when you are feeling low or feel engulfed in chaos. Go for a walk in nature and thank all the trees, flowers, plants, the sky, the birds – feeling the invisible connection with all things – that silently nourishes you. Do a random act of kindness in your surroundings – your cleaner, gardener, driver, old woman across the street, feeding a starved animal – these go a long way, not just to spread a little bit of smile but also clear your karmic residue.
