Hey ,

The monsoon is a special time, everything is lush green, flowers are blooming, birds are nesting, frogs croaking all night long. But there's one creature that is really bothersome, the mosquitoes. They are everywhere, buzzing in your ears, attached to your legs, and of course when it's time to go to bed, they find their way in somehow.

It's like the Dalai Lama said, “If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.”

For many a night I was tossing and turning, the itch of the mosquitoes, the hovering around your face as they choose a nice spot to settle down and literally suck the blood out of you :) Then after a few days, of getting frustrated, I gave up and literally surrendered, bite me as much as you want I don't give a damn anymore.

Surprising, that was the best sleep I had in a while, it's not that the mosquitoes did not bite, but there is peace that comes with surrender, letting go of a perspective that we have created, the annoying mosquitoes, coming to peace with it that night made me realize on a deeper level how surrender can actually help, it literally felt like taking control of the monkey mind.

Have you ever found peace, by letting go?
