Dear ,
We are very quick to react, the moment we get stuck in traffic, the moment someone lies to us, the moment someone talks rudely for no real fault of ours.
In reality, it is only a matter of a pause.
Not reacting doesn't mean you have to be calm and patient deliberately; it is simply about seeing clearly what the situation needs.
Step back and think about the time when someone really pissed you off, you got angry, in such a scenario, what if you step back? I know that sounds difficult, but worth a shot, nevertheless,
What will happen? You will feel angry, but it might not stay. And because it did not stay, it will not take anything more from you. This small difference will change the experience of your entire day.
You will often carry moments longer than necessary, turning them over in your mind, letting them shape what comes next.
But sometimes, you can let them pass, not because they don’t matter, but because holding on to them will not help. And when you do that, even an ordinary day that briefly went wrong can find its way back again.
