Hi ,

A mother can be so many things, most of us have hopefully had mothers that have been able to love us unconditionally. A mother is the one who imbibes values, conditioning and even her fears into us.

We have an interstice connection with our mothers from the time we're conceived to the time one of us moves on. To me the song that resonates the most about a Mother is Pink Floyd's Mother.

Here's a small part of the song,
"Mama's gonna make all of your nightmares come true
Mama's gonna put all of her fears into you
Mama's gonna keep you right here under her wing
She won't let you fly but she might let you sing
Mama's gonna keep baby cosy and warm"

I believe it's the most balanced song about what a mother really is, if you haven't heard go ahead and give it a listen. So many emotions and thoughts run through when I think of mother. 

Most mother's do the best of their ability and the others do what they think is best. Sometime's it may feel like we would do or are doing better, but again each one's path is different, and we may never be able to accurately place ourselves in their shoes based on their situations and experiences.
