In the Kriya Yoga course I am pursuing at the moment, there was a mention of practicing ‘Worry fast’. It basically means to abstain from thoughts that leads to worry. It is putting a stop on the monkey mind even if it's for a few hours in a day, not indulging in overthinking, clearing the mind and satiating it with thoughts of positivity and hope. To put an end to the thought loops that more often than not, leads to distress and anxiety.
