Psychedelics and the Evolution of Consciousness

Although the word psychedelics is relatively new, the use of substances and plants with these properties goes back to hundreds of years before the birth of Christ.

Though McKenna's stoned ape theory where he puts forth the idea that Magic Mushrooms helped the apes evolve into humans may sound far fetched there could be a glimpse of truth in it.

In this newsletter we take a look at the use of psychedelics across the world, the effects, the rituals and don't miss the video at the end of Spiders weave better on LSD.

“By observing natural scientific discoveries through a perception deepened by meditation, we can develop a new awareness of reality. This awareness could become the bedrock of a spirituality that is not based on the dogmas of a given religion, but on insights into a higher and deeper meaning. I am referring to the ability to recognize, to read, and to understand the firsthand revelations.”
