Good Bye 2022, what started out to be one of the most challenging years in our books has had a pretty good ending. A lot of new experiences gained this year, a lot of pages turned, a lot of wisdom and fresh insights and perspectives in life.
I have always loved the tradition of burning the old man, from the time we were kids to build one, to put a few crackers in places, douse it in inflammables, use old clothes and although now the lack of space and community in the city these things are not really observed with similar fervor.
But there is an old man that we can all burn, a version of ourselves that does not serve us, the one that is holding us back from achieving our true potential. I recently read a book, generally books help expand your perspective but this one literally tugged at certain belief system and pushed me out of the comfort zone. The Power to be Disliked is one book that you would like to read to show you how you have been holding yourself back and if you truly want to work on yourself, give this book a read.
