Just a reminder:
• we have all done unforgivable things
• we have all wanted to punch holes in a wall
• we have all made someone cry
• we have all let someone down
• we have all had a broken heart
• we have all told a lie
• we have all wanted to throw our life away
• we have all stayed up late overthinking
We are all humans and we are trying to do better today than we did yesterday

Just a Reminder
In the Midst of Hate, I Found
In the midst of hate, I found there was, within me, an invincible love. In the midst of tears, I found there was, within me, an invincible smile. In the midst of chaos, I found there was, within me, an invincible calm. I realized, through it all, that… In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.
~ Albert Camus
Some Friends Just Get It.
Some friends just get it. They can read the energy behind your words and feel when your heart is unsettled. They can give you the insights you are missing, especially when you feel down and defeated. You share a connection that rises above what is visible and helps you support each other to keep going.
~ Yung Pueblo
You are Not Lazy, Unmotivated, or Stuck
You are not lazy, unmotivated, or stuck. After years of living your life in survival mode, you are exhausted. There is a difference.
~ Nakeia Homer
Being Strong Means Refusing to Tolerate People
Being strong means refusing to tolerate people and things that wound your soul. It means practicing self-care when you’re hurting. It means honoring your feelings by actually allowing yourself to feel and express them. It means treating yourself with compassion and kindness, even when you feel like you don’t deserve any. It means doing what makes you happy and being with people who make you feel good, regardless of outside judgements. It means asking for help when the weight of the world has become too much. It means giving yourself permission to get your needs met by setting boundaries and using your voice. It means forgiving yourself on the days that you’re struggling and can’t be brave.
