Tomorrow is not promised. Not a single second or minute, is. So, live for today. Keep the promises you make. Take action on the things you desire and need. Make the calls you’ve been telling yourself you’ll do ‘tomorrow’. Let the small shit go. Never go to bed angry. We will all die one day, so learn to live each day with the promise to yourself that it’ll be better than yesterday.

Before you Argue with Someone
Before you argue with someone, ask yourself, is that person even mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of different perspectives? Because if not, there’s absolutely no point.

Please Believe Me When I Say you Can Come Back from the Edge
Please believe me when I say you can come back from the edge. Believe me when I say things can get better. How do I know? Because I’ve been through it. I’ve been to the place you are now. In fact, I was there for a very long time. To be honest, I out-stayed my welcome. Everything was just dark. All I could see was black. I was tired. Exhausted in fact. How had I let it get to this stage? How did I end up loathing myself so very much, and loving myself so very little? I know how you are feeling, believe me, I do. I know every worry and every thought that’s surrounding and taunting your mind. And that’s how I know, that you’ll be okay. I came back from it.
You can.

You’re Not Behind in Life
You’re not behind in life. There’s no schedule or timetable that we all must follow. It’s all made up. Wherever you are right now is exactly where you need to be. Seven billion people can’t do everything in exactly the same scheduled order. We are all different with a variety of needs and goals. Some get married early, some get married late, while others don’t get married at all. What is early? What is late? Compared with whom? Compared with what? Some want children, others don’t. Some want a career; others enjoy taking care of a house and children. Your life is not on anyone else’s schedule. Don’t beat yourself up for where you are right now. It’s YOUR timeline, not anyone else’s, and nothing is off schedule.

Write it on Your Heart that Every Day is the Best Day
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year. He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety. Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in. Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. This new day is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on the yesterdays.
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
