“The Universe is always speaking to us… sending us little messages, causing coincidences and serendipities, reminding us to stop, look around, and believe in something else, something more.” ~ Nancy Thayer
Imagine you had a child that was trapped inside a maze. You could see your child, but your child could not see or hear you.
You knew the way out of the maze, and could send your child “signs” and “clues” to help him find his way out, but your child did not know if the clues he was receiving were really from you, or were all a figment of his imagination.
You would probably try and get your child’s attention to guide him in the right direction repeatedly, incessantly even. Now you can imagine how the universe guides us and helps us at all times. In fact, there is never a time when we are without help from the universe, because in all technicality we are it, pretending to be a human experiencing itself.
To even live a life separate from receiving feedback and answers from the universe is actually impossible. Since we have signed up to participate in a human life in a third density planet (which has now ascended into 5d we are just catching up consciously to this fact), where a veil of forgetfulness is placed over our conscious awareness, we may not be fluent in the language the universe speaks quite yet.
Here are 4 communication methods the universe uses to guide us!
The language of the universe
“The synchronicities and signs in our lives, often DO NOT make sense in the middle of the journey. We are entrusted to follow our instinct, our intuition, our “gut” from one to the next as if we are arranging puzzle pieces on a table with no idea of what picture they will make. But it is my solemn promise that in the end… if you follow the signs in your life, the picture of your life, your purpose and your destiny will come into full view. Every tiny detail which once seemed random, will instead look like graceful order. IT WILL ALL make sense and you will be leveled by the cosmic beauty of it all. And you will realize you were being led straight to it all along. Trust your signs. Trust yourself.” ~ Teal Scott
1) Dreams
Our dreams are actually quite revealing if we learn how to read them correctly. The universe very often speaks to us while we are in the sleep state because this is when our conscious mind is no longer intervening trying to “understand” and analyze everything.
There are a couple different types of dreams: premonition (where we see something that has yet to happen to us in waking life), “other worldly” (where we actually leave our body and visit different dimension or other realms), but the one I’m going to touch on here is the subconscious mind dreams.
These are the dreams that we can use to understand what our long held core beliefs are in our subconscious. The people, places, and things in these types of dreams all symbolize something about ourselves.
People are symbols of certain emotions (pay attention to how you feel or perceive a character in your dream), and things like houses (pay attention to how the house looks/ feels etc.) and bodies of water symbolize our state of being at the time.
It takes time to be able to decode your individual dream symbols because the symbols are individual and personal to you and your own psyche. For example, a cat person may see a cat in their dreams, and it represents love, friendship or happiness but for a dog person a cat may symbolize fear, hatred, or judgment… the symbols are not universal.
2) Judgment
This one is tricky because judgment is often thought of as an unfair criticism or stereotype of another person, place or thing which makes us feel as though it is something we should prevent ourselves from doing.
However, have you ever noticed there are certain people you just don’t like being around? Or certain times, where you just don’t feel like going somewhere or doing something without any reasonable explanation why.
This is the universe telling you these people/places/things are not meant for you! Also, if we think about the things we judge about ourselves most often, these are actually insights as to guidance the universe is trying to send us (only our ego mind is translating it in a way that may come across as criticism or judgment).
For example, do you get a feeling of judgment towards yourself to stop eating processed foods or sugar every time you reach for a cookie? This is how the universe suggests to you that a healthier alternative is available.
Although we are always unconditionally loved regardless of what we do, often the discernment feeling (which can feel like judgment sometimes) is simply a nudge to a more fulfilling option.
3) Wants/desires
The very things you are inspired to want or desire are actually how the universe gives you previews of what is already true in a future reality.
Unfortunately, we often feel deprived, disappointed, or grief when we envision something we want because the conscious (linear) mind sees it as, “I see something I want, which only reaffirms that presently I don’t have it, which makes me feel like my life is lacking something.”
Instead of feeling disappointment when you think of something you want, say, “thank you,” which not only raises our vibration (making these things come to us quicker), but affirms our faith that we will be given everything we desire at the perfect moment and when we are ready to receive it.
4) The advice you are inspired to give people
Often it is hard to see our situation from a bird’s eye view because we are riddled with fear, or anxiety when it comes to our own lives. However, this is precisely why the universe manifests other people in our lives (who are actually representations of emotions or belief systems that we haven’t become consciously aware of yet).
Have you ever felt yourself wanting to give someone some really helpful advice, or out of nowhere heard yourself say something to someone, and then it dawns on you, “I could probably take that advice too.”
It’s always easier to give someone advice about their own life situation than it is for us to determine what to do in ours, and that’s why paying attention to the words we are inspired to say to others during their times of trouble are important to take note of.
If you think about the advice you would give the 5 most important people in your life, and then turn it around and give it to yourself as well, you may be astonished at how relevant and clear the guidance from the universe becomes!
