5 Things you Need to Know About “the Truth”

“If you have found your truth within yourself, there is nothing more in this whole existence to find.” ~ Rajneesh

One might read the title to this article and immediately scoff at them. “For centuries, some of the greatest scientists, philosophers, artists, mathematicians, and spiritual gurus have attempted to find the ‘truth’ and I’m supposed to believe that some writer for an article I found on Facebook, knows the answer?” – they may say.

And while yes, this is true, there are those who have devoted years, their entire lives even, to attempting to discover the magical formula or unified theory that can explain the reality of existence. I dare to suggest that the “truth” may be a lot simpler than we have previously realized.

Perhaps it is the joke of the century, and the most ironic set of circumstances that “god” itself could play on us, that the truth is not on the other end of an intricate equation (although that’s one way to look at it,) nor is it solely the words of your spiritual teacher of choice (although that’s another way to look at it,) or in the ramblings of the greatest philosophers the world has known – but is in fact, in something much easier to access and simpler to comprehend.
