Everyone has a dark side. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. Or they’ve repressed their shadow. Or both.
As far as discovering that part of you that’s superior, that’s relentless, that’s capable of getting you into the Zone or into Flow, your dark side is a crucial ingredient. That’s where the fire is. That’s where the hunger is. That’s where the ability to think outside the box is. That’s where love for the game (whatever your game may be) resides.
