Will you Stand with Me in the Fire

0

Will you stand with me in the fire, and hold space for me to rise from the ashes. Will you walk with me through the storm, and sit with me until the sun dawns once more. Will you share your vulnerabilities and fears, and allow me to share mine. Will you join me in my light, and not cast a shadow, will you find the love within you that opens you loving me, at my worst, at my best, and everything in between. Will you allow me to do this for you…

By Nature, People are Learning Animals

0

By nature, people are learning animals. Birds fly; fish swim; humans think and learn. Therefore, we do not need to motivate children into learning by wheedling, bribing, or bullying.

We do not need to keep picking away at their minds to make sure they are teaming. What we need to do and all we need to do – is to give children as much help and guidance as they need and ask for, listen respectfully when they feel like talking and then get out of the way.

We can trust them to do the rest.

Belonging for Young Children is Being in a Place

0

Belonging for young children is being in a place where they feel comfortable enough to play without having to look over their shoulders seeking approval – or dodging disapproval – to explore without fear, to redefine their space and to use materials found around them to create for themselves a sense of order, pattern and structure

Please be Patient with Those Who

0

Please be patient with those who have a hard time articulating how they feel. Many of those people grew up in environments where no matter what they said or how they said it, it was not enough to be heard. Their default was to stop sharing.
Again, patience please.
