Belonging for Young Children is Being in a Place
Belonging for young children is being in a place where they feel comfortable enough to play without having to look over their shoulders seeking approval – or dodging disapproval – to explore without fear, to redefine their space and to use materials found around them to create for themselves a sense of order, pattern and structure

Please be Patient with Those Who
Please be patient with those who have a hard time articulating how they feel. Many of those people grew up in environments where no matter what they said or how they said it, it was not enough to be heard. Their default was to stop sharing.
Again, patience please.

You Don’t Know it Yet, but One Day You Will
You don’t know it yet, but one day you will reach a low you never knew existed, and you will lose yourself. Getting yourself back will be one of the hardest seasons of your life. But, spoiler alert, you do get yourself back, you do make it in the end, and you become much stronger. So, keep going. For all the times you hit bottom, there’s a thousand times you prove you don’t belong there.

We Have to Teach our Children How to Love
We have to teach our children how to love, how to bond, how to deal with their emotions, how to have healthy relationships, and how to get out of relationships that aren’t healthy. Our relationship with them is the one they will come to base all relationships on, so let’s not base it on control and fear.
