Energy Movement : How to Tune in and Understand its Flow

“The chi is the central energy or power that we use in physical expression. When the chi is flowing properly in our lives, we can be very adept athletically.” ~ Frederick Lenz

To constantly be moving is just as unhealthy for us as never moving forward at all. To be in a state of constant motion, activity and doing is how we create a lifetime full of stress, worry, the inability to relax, etc…

The opposite of constant energy movement is never changing anything, staying in the same job, relationship, mind frame, or perspective puts us in the energy of stagnation. This means repressed emotions fester, and we begin attracting the exact same thing over and over with different details.

So how do we know which person we are supposed to be when? The answer is in tuning in to the energy of life, and understand the movement of energy.

Energy Movement: Progression

“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl but do whatever it takes to keep moving forward.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr.

When energy moves forward, we are being called to progress forward in life in some way. Progression is almost always marked as trying something new, making a decision that you’ve either never made before, or making the choice to do something in a way that you’ve never done before.

The universe calls us to do this in order to invite new possibilities and outcomes in to our lives. If we always make the exact same choices in the same way we’ve made them every time, the universe delivers exactly the energy that we expect to receive or are giving while we make the choices. This will no doubt feel monotonous and make us feel as though life has become boring, depressing and uneventful.

We can know that our life force is telling us to move in progression when: we feel energetic, drawn to try new things, willing to go out on a limb for something, inspired to say something different, dress differently, try out a new hobby, apply for a new job, etc… When you feel your intuition tugging at you that it’s time for some excitement you can be sure that this moment is a moment of progression.

Energy Movement: Regression

“Pain serves a purpose, without it you could be in danger. What you cannot feel you cannot take care of.” ~ Rebecca Solnit

Regression may not sound like a good thing at first glance, however what this movement of energy is calling us to do is heal and integrate. Very often we are called to visit the past in order to remember a wound or a belief that was formed in our childhood. This calls for us to go into a state of regression.

This may be due to us reacting to a situation in the same old manner, only to show us later that we are carrying around with us a repressed thought or emotion, or we may be called to do energy healing work, regression therapy, or inner child healing.

Regardless, when the universe has called us to regress, it is important to not judge ourselves or our process. What we do not heal, we carry around with us like baggage, and baggage on top of more baggage gets heavy after a while.

We can know that the Qi of our soul’s journey is telling us to regress when we find ourselves in a situation where our inner child wounds are triggered. Our inner child is the part of us that carries around our most sensitive vulnerabilities, and it is in this place that we often react in a negative or immature manner when threatened.

In order to even know we have these wounds, we often need to experience a situation that shows us, “you have regressed in some way.” While it’s not fun to regress it’s imperative nonetheless, in order to heal.

Energy Movement: Digression

“With stillness comes the benediction of peace.” ~ Eckhart Tolle

When energy asks you to digress, what it is saying is, take a step back and be still, now is not the time to leap ahead nor is it the time to regress into inner child wounds or habits. This is the “digestion” process of energy, figuratively speaking.

When we have been in a period of progression or regression, it is wise and healthy to do an integration of these energies so that our body can process the new energy brought in by the new choices, or process the pain we have just healed from.

Hence, we are told to digress. This may seem like a “stagnation” of yourself, your life, or your goals, but really it is a time that you are becoming a better receiver and manifestor of what’s next. In order to evolve we must manifest from a new vantage point or vibrational frequency, and that can only be achieved after a period of digression occurs.

When life is telling us to digress it feels like wanting to meditate, wanting to isolate or go somewhere where you can be away from others, wanting to stop watching television or being on your phone so much, feeling like it’s time to take a vacation etc.

Tuning in and Working with these Energy Movements

Working with the movement of energy is something we must learn to do, as it is difficult when we are still in our ego. The more we heal ourselves, the more we learn what life is telling us to do and the less we judge ourselves because of it.

It is very often that we as humans believe going against what our body and intuition is telling us is necessary in order to participate in the 3D experience. Although nothing could be further from the truth.

The 3D experience is governed by energy just like any other dimension, and working against energy makes life an uphill battle filled with difficulties and stress. If you want to align with your highest destiny in the most effortless way possible, work with the energy that is the driving force of life. This is where we will find the most success in all areas of life.
