Spend some time immersing yourself in nature, go to a garden, walk in the forest or any green space around you. Sit quietly under the tree, close your eyes and listen to the sounds ~ the chirping birds, rustling leaves, the wind blowing through the trees, let your soul dance to the drum that mother plays.
Day 10 ~ Every Time you get Triggered Today
Every time you get triggered today by someone, either your neighbor, or a colleague or even a family member, remember to pause. Take slow deep breaths, count slowly till 10 as you breathe. 1, 2, 3, 4, …. Feel a sense of calm and grounding come back to you, and feel the emotional outburst slowly melt away.
Day 9 ~ Remember that Life is a Journey.
Remember that life is a journey. Enlightenment, happiness or whatever we’re trying to achieve is just a part of it. The only goal is personal evolution, becoming a better person than what we were yesterday. Don’t be so hard on yourself nor drown yourself in life’s comforts, but use today to make a small step towards bettering yourself.
Day 8 ~ I Begin my Day with a Mind Full of Wonder and Awe
I begin my day with a mind full of wonder and awe. To be curious like a child, look at things with fresh eyes, observe and soak in everything around me, yet be the judge of none. The tree outside the window, a flower on the walking path, the sunny sky patched with clouds, I observe them and get absorbed. The moment in which everything exists together. This is life, take those deep slow breaths and have a wonderful day.
Day 7 ~ Though I May Wake up to a day that Greets Me
Though I may wake up to a day that greets me with multiple tasks to accomplish or many an obstacle to cross or even conquer the same old fears yet again. I shall pick myself up, put a smile on my face and step into the unknown, for I’m stronger than I can imagine. I have made it this far, I will make it through whatever today has in store for me.
