If you do not Learn to Meet your Needs Directly

0

If you do not learn to meet your needs directly, you will learn to meet them neurotically. You will develop routines and relationships and rituals that are designed to help you get just enough of what you want without having to ask for it directly. But never enough to feel fulfilled. To be fulfilled, we must go straight to the source. We must extract whatever it is that is fuelling our anxieties and ego trips and neurotic compulsions and fears and we must face that. Otherwise, we can waste a whole lifetime trying to understand what the soul – at its core – already knows.

Our Lives are Not as Limited as we Think

Our lives are not as limited as we think they are; the world is a wonderfully weird place; consensual reality is significantly flawed; no institution can be trusted, but love does work; all things are possible; and we all could be happy and fulfilled if we only had the guts to be truly free and the wisdom to shrink our egos and quit taking ourselves so damn seriously.
