Our Crown Chakra – in Sanskrit it is called the Sahasrara Chakra “Thousand Fold” Chakra – is our direct connection point to the Source. It’s job is to connect us to Source by drawing energy directly from the universe and distributing it throughout the body via the body’s chi system aka the chakras.
Having a properly aligned and cleared Crown Chakra facilitates spiritual development and a lasting sense of contentment in our daily lives. Just as the Root Chakra grounds us by connecting us the Life Force energy of Mother Earth, we need the Crown chakra to round us out by keeping us centered with Universal energy of Source.
