Spirituality Automatically Leads to Humility

0

Spirituality automatically leads to humility. When a flower develops into a fruit, the petals drop off on its own. When one becomes spiritual, the ego vanishes gradually on its own. A tree laden with fruits always bends low. Humility is a sign of greatness.

Own the Fact that You are Different

1

Own the fact that you are different. Own that you are a deep feeler and thinker. Own that you’re tuned into a different frequency. Own the fact that you sense things others don’t. Own the fact that you want to talk about angels, energy, miracles and spirituality. Own that you’re done having meaningless conversations. Own that you’re done holding yourself back. Own that you crave freedom to feel the now. It’s 0k if your family don’t get you. It’s 0k if your friends don’t join you. It’s ok if the world judges you. It’s ok that you want to dance barefoot upon the earth and endlessly gaze at the stars. It’s ok that you cry over sunsets and chase moonbeams. It’s wonderful, in fact. It’s beautiful. You have come a long way to be who you are. So own it. Own all of it. Love all of you. The world needs you to be exactly as you are. You hold the balance in this crazy world.

If you Surrender Anger to Understanding

0

If you surrender anger to understanding, fear to acceptance, and hate to love, the universe will respond by bringing you more of what you focus on. When you shift from the intellect to the spirit, you are bound to find a new way of life. This will be a life dedicated to peace, joy, and compassion.

When you Choose to Love Someone Who is Damaged

0

When you choose to love someone who is damaged, you take on the weight of their past, their pain, their guilt. You must be strong, you must be patient. You can stop the bleeding and help them scar over. But they will always, always be a little broken. If you can handle that, if you can accept the dents and the cracks. If you can get them to trust you, you will never find a better ally than one who is damaged. Above all else, they know about survival. After all, they are still here… wondering if someone like you will ever love them

Sacred Catastrophe : The Power of Initiation

“You desire to know the art of living, my friend? It is contained in one phrase: make use of suffering.” ~ Henri-Frédéric Amiel

Things fall apart. Life is less about receiving flowers and rainbows and sunshine and more about how well you navigate the thorns the storms and the darkness. On a long enough timeline, everything you know is swallowed by entropy. Sacred Catastrophe is inevitable. But so what?

As Theodore Rubin said, “The problem is not that there are problems. The problem is expecting otherwise and thinking that having problems is a problem.”

So, making the best of what you have, while also appreciating it, is a sound and healthy strategy. This is the epitome of sacred catastrophe.

The opposite of entropy is exergy: improvement, increase, rise, aggregation. Exergy is a combination property of an individual with his/her environment because it depends on the state of both the individual and the environment.
